A boy (14) was seriously injured after a Purim firecracker he was holding exploded, tearing five fingers off his hand and launching shrapnel into his face. 4.3.2009

Moshav Kadima, near Kfar Sava. The celebrations were marred when a pyrotechnician was gravely injured while launching the fireworks. Police said initial inquiries indicate that one of the rockets used to shoot the fireworks display misfired, hitting the man in the neck. 28.4.2009

2008

 

Tuba, Sajur, Salame/North District. Two boys in the North who were celebrating Id al-Adha with firecrackers suffer from penetrating wounds to their eyes and deep cuts in the back of their eyes, and one boy also suffered damage to his cornea. Two others were were injured by the explosive force of a firecracker thrown near them and are being treated for bleeding from their eyes. The four are ages eight to 14.

Hapoel Tel Aviv supporters were expelled from the stadium during their team's first leg of the UEFA Cup second qualifying round match away to Bosnian side Siroki Brijeg after they started throwing fire crackers, setting fire to several seats. 16.8.2007

An Israeli fan was seriously injured by a firecracker before Saturday's Tel Aviv derby match between Maccabi and Hapoel. The fan had undergone an operation for serios head injuries.

Israel. 3 persons were lightly injured by smoke inhalation in a fire in the Eilat Paradise Club Hotel. The blaze began as a result of fireworks being detonated in the dry brush adjacent to the hotel. 23.5.2003
