thug who tied firecrackers to the legs of a cat causing severe injuries is being
sought by police. The cat's legs were badly burnt and he lost his left ear and
several teeth.

Football game between Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split, 1.5.2010: A 33-year-old
policeman was hurt when a fan of Zagreb's team Dinamo threw a firecracker under
his visor during a violent skirmish between Dinamo fans and fans of rival Hajduk
Split. The policeman lost one of his eyes and suffers from hearing damage.
The
policeman is now in danger of losing his other eye. On May 5, 2010, doctors said
an infection in the other eye could now mean the man loses that too if the
infection continues to spread.
